The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has allowed indoor celebrations in wedding halls across the country since March 15 under strict regulations.
Wednesday's National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) meeting reviewed the latest corona virus situation across the country and the implementation of implemented SOPs.
A statement issued the following night said: "Cinema halls and shrines have also been allowed to open while 50 per cent attendance in offices has been lifted."
The NCOC said that "corona SOPs will be strictly enforced after the opening of indoor wedding ceremonies, shrines and cinema halls from March 15."
According to the statement, the time limit for commercial activities and amusement parks across the country has also been removed while consideration is also being given to allow meals in restaurant halls from March 15. The final decision will be taken on March 10. Will be done in the meeting.
It has been decided to increase the number of spectators in the pool matches of the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League from 20% to 50% while 100% spectators have been allowed to watch the match in the play-off stage.
In addition, the ban on wearing masks and enforcing social distance will remain in place, while smart lockdown will also be enforced according to the situation.
The NCOC said in a statement that "if there is an increase in cases of corona virus, these easing restrictions will be reviewed according to the situation."
The NCOC says "from a health point of view, local and Kent board elections may be planned for rent in late May or early June."
It may be recalled that after the increase in corona cases in Pakistan, eating inside restaurants was banned across the country. In addition, cinema halls were closed and indoor celebrations in wedding halls were banned.
According to Johns Hopkins University in the United States, the number of people infected with the corona virus in Pakistan has risen to 574,580, with 12,708 deaths.
